Tibbett and Britten Group receives ASTD Excellence in Practice citation for workplace learning and development

Toronto, Canada -- June 1, 2004 -- At a recent awards ceremony in Washington, DC, Tibbett and Britten Group / NewMindsets Inc. were among the Excellence in Practice award winners in the field of workplace learning and development. Other award recipients included FedEx Ground, General Motors University, Hewlett-Packard, and University of Toyota.

The award was presented for Tibbett and Britten's use of the NewMindsets "second generation" e-learning system in support of results-focused top team development. In addition to returning cost savings in the region of $10million, this action focused program addressed a key strategic challenge in relation to top talent development and has helped to make the company an employer of choice in a highly competitive industry.
