Ontario Principals' Council partners with NewMindsets to deliver online learning to school administrators
Toronto, Canada, September 18, 2003. NewMindsets is pleased to announce that its online learning system will be used by the Ontario Principals' Council (OPC) to support the development of leadership and management competencies for school administrators. The aim is to provide practicing educational leaders with an opportunity to explore key leadership and management ideas in a self-directed learning format to improve individual, team and organizational learning for effective job performance and career development. The OPC application features a practical, problem oriented, case study approach. Learning is linked to topics that are of immediate relevance and importance to principals and those exercising a school or team leadership role at all levels. The aim is to create learning opportunities that principals can use to involve colleagues in team learning around day to day issues of practical concern.
