NewMindsets partners with British Columbia's Leading the Way learning consortium
Toronto, Canada, October 16, 2003. NewMindsets is pleased to announce that its online learning system will be used to support the development of leadership and management competencies for British Columbia's "Leading the Way" program. This state of the art public service education program -- launched by the University of Victoria, Royal Roads University and Camosun College -- supports the BC Government's strategic plan and vision of a government that is innovative, enterprising, results-oriented and accountable. Leading the way is a flexible and open learning program designed to enhance the skills of public service managers. It is made up of modules and other learning options such as workshops, events and e-learning opportunities that support superior performance in the BC Government.

About the Leading the Way
The Leading the Way program was developed for the Province of British Columbia by a consortium of colleges and universities, led by the University of Victoria, Royal Roads University and Camosun College. The program offers leadership and management development training to enhance the skills of public service managers. The BC Public Service Agency describes Leading the Way as "a new leadership and management development program designed to help managers and supervisors excel. It is an important part of our strategy to rebuild and sustain a professional public service that provides quality services to meet the needs of British Columbians."
